“It was something very beautiful, exciting, listening to my songs arranged by the Los Angeles Philharmonic. It was very magical and special. We recorded about four months ago in the midst of extreme biosecurity measures… We traveled to LA and six songs were chosen: Cumbiana, Fruta Fresca, La Bicicleta, Quiero Verte Sonreír, Pa Mayté and La Tierra del Olvido ”… As a result, we opened our tour of the United States on August 27 and 28 with the Philharmonic », said Carlos Vives after his concert.

During the conversation with Dudamel, they played music about Cumbiana, amphibian territory, life itself, and how the pandemic transformed the entire human environment.

“The balance with my wife is that I will always be in debt to her because she came into my life to teach me to value and love my things, and she has given me a beautiful family that goes beyond our children.”
