Luke Evans loves Colombia and he’s spending time visiting all the ancient and new cities that are in the production path of Echo 3, his next acting role.

But not everything in Colombia went ok for the actor. Some problems with his accomodation in Cartagena were brought for him in his Instagram account.

It all started with a complaint. The British actor, remembered for roles in series such as The Alienist and films such as Fast and Furious and Beauty and the Beast, is spending a season in Colombia, specifically in Cartagena (it is not the first time he has spent time in the country), at the look like resting and taking a vacation.

This time he made a complaint on social networks, specifically on his Instagram stories, in which he denounced alleged breaches despite having made a reservation at a well-known beach club located in the insular area of Cartagena.

“They have sold our reserved beds to other people and they don’t care at all,” he reads the message.

And he added: “They only care about money. The worst customer service ever ”. According to Luke, the event would have been presented at Bora Bora Beach Club.

The commercial director of Bora Bora Beach Club, Javier Urdaneta told the Cartagena newspaper El Universal that the British actor’s publication caught them by surprise: “We were surprised by that post he made. He never set foot on the island or the establishment as such. They made the reservations but the oceanfront beds they reserved were not checked. This morning when the actor’s group arrives (we didn’t know who he was) we treated them all the same. We explained to the manager what happened, he was offered several options but he did not accept them. “

The establishment acknowledged that the error in the reservation was made by the platform: “We reject the treatment that these people had with the dock workers, who said they felt humiliated by what happened. It is completely true that the fault of the reservation was an error of our platform, but this fact does not give to throw expletives with operators who are always ready to solve the doubts and concerns of the clients ”.

After this fact, the actor has not commented on the matter again and continues his visit to Cartagena.

Evans has been visiting Colombia frequently for both vacations and work. A few months ago he was in Bogotá recording Echo 3, a television drama series based on an Israeli program called When Heroes Fly and inspired by the novel When Heroes Fly by Amir Gutfreund that is scheduling its premiere on Apple TV +.
