The popular actress of Euphoria, Zendaya, has marked an incredible milestone thanks to her participation in the HBO drama, after being nominated for one of the most important Emmy awards of the event.
As viewers await the release of Euphoria’s third season, fans have been surprised by the recent news that has emerged from lead actress Zendaya. After confirming this July 12, 2022 that she has been nominated for the category of Outstanding Dramatic Series in Production. Recall that the star serves as executive producer of the HBO drama and her nomination makes her the youngest woman to receive a nomination as a producer at the Emmy Awards.
Recall that the actress Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman or known simply as Zendaya, has been playing Ruby “Rue” Bennett in the Euphoria series. A teenage drug addict out of rehab looking to find her place in the world, as she struggles not to relapse into addiction over and over again. Her character also serves as the narrator of the story.
Since she first appeared in Euphoria, Zendaya has repeatedly proven to be a formidable force in front of the cameras for Rue’s great portrayal of her. In fact, her performance landed her the youngest ever winner of the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in an HBO Drama, beating out top contenders Jennifer Aniston and Laura Linney.

Now, the star has been selected again for an Emmy award, although this time not for her performance, but for her work as an executive producer of the same series that has catapulted her to fame, Euphoria. Zendaya is making history in the very popular event, due to her young age and awards and nominations that she has received.
In fact, she also garnered three other nominations, including Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series and two nominations for Best Original Music and Lyrics: “Elliot’s Song” from Season 2, Episode 8; and “I’m Tired”, which appeared in Season 2, Episode 4. Despite having been nominated, it only remains to wait for the day of the event that will take place on September 12, 2022, which will be at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Interestingly, despite being the executive producer, Zendaya revealed in an interview that she was unable to direct one of Euphoria’s second season episodes. Due to problems in her schedule due to the hard work that she maintains, but she assured that she is preparing to be in charge of one of the third installments that will soon go into production.
