The original panel included Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton, but it has seen numerous changes with stars like Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Shakira, and John Legend taking turns in the iconic red chairs.
Changes in the Coaching Lineup
For season 26, the panel will feature Gwen Stefani, Reba McEntire, Michael Bublé, and Snoop Dogg. However, season 27 will see some significant changes. Reba McEntire, who brought her country charm to the show, will be leaving after season 26 to focus on her new NBC sitcom, Happy’s Place. Gwen Stefani, known for her dynamic performances and insightful coaching, will also be stepping down, continuing her trend of not participating in consecutive seasons. Snoop Dogg will exit as well, leaving a few vacant chairs.
Adam Levine and Kelsea Ballerini Join the Panel
A familiar face will return to The Voice as Adam Levine steps back into his coaching role. The Maroon 5 frontman, who was a coach for the first 16 seasons, left in 2019, stating he needed a break. Now, after nearly six years, he’s ready for a comeback. Joining him will be Kelsea Ballerini, a four-time Grammy nominee and a prominent figure in country music. Ballerini previously served as an advisor on the show and even filled in for Kelly Clarkson in season 16. Her experience and country roots will be invaluable to her team of contestants.
Michael Bublé, who will remain from the season 26 lineup, and John Legend, a seasoned coach on The Voice, will round out the panel. Their combined expertise in various musical genres promises an exciting and diverse season for fans.
