EA Sports reinforces its commitment to women’s soccer in its collaboration with the National Women’s Soccer League and the National Women’s Soccer League Players Association
The American video game company, Electronic Arts Inc, has recently announced its partnership with the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) and the National Women’s Soccer League Players Association (NWSLPA), the two most important women’s soccer organizations in the United States. This collaboration is a fundamental part of EA Sports’ commitment to elevate and authentically represent women’s sports across all sports platforms.
This being the case and the magnitude of her promise, it has already been confirmed that among the players who will be in the game, Linda Caicedo is scheduled to appear alongside her team, Real Madrid Femenino. A milestone for the game, the league and the Colombia Women’s team itself.
The integration of the NWSL into EA Sports FIFA 23 is a monumental milestone for the league, the players, and millions of soccer fans around the world as we continue to push the boundaries of women’s sport. Starting March 15, all 12 NWSL teams will be present in Kickoff, Tournament Mode, Head-to-Head and Co-op Seasons, and Online Friendly matches. Four league stadiums will also be available in the title, along with kits, player scans, trophies, and celebrations. The integration of the NWSL into EA Sports FIFA 23 is great news for fans of women’s soccer, who will now have access to an authentic experience of the sport through the most popular video game in the industry.
