The fate of Stella in “Chicago Fire” was finally revealed in the latest episode, after the midseason finale (Season 11, Episode 9) left fans in suspense. Stella and Carver entered a burning building to save an injured Pryma, but an explosion put their lives in jeopardy.

The tension was finally broken at the start of Episode 10, where Severide rushed into the building to check on Stella and found her on the ground with a painful injury, while Carver seemed unharmed. All three were taken to the hospital, where they all survived with Stella expected to make a full recovery after a few weeks off work.

It was later revealed that Stella jumped in front of Carver during the explosion to save him, causing her to bear the brunt of the injuries. This affected Carver’s confidence, and the two had a heart-to-heart conversation at Molly’s. Stella tried to get Carver to open up by being vulnerable, and Carver revealed that he was not used to being saved and the incident was affecting his mental state.

By the end of the episode, the air was cleared, and Carver returned to his confident and playful self, much to the delight of fans. The conversation between Stella and Carver served to further strengthen their bond, and viewers can look forward to seeing more of the two of them in future episodes.
